On April 2, Ludmila Sergeyevna , Director of the International Affairs Office of South Ural State University, and Jing Lewei, Vice President of Eurasian International Association led a delegation to visit YRCTI. YRCTI’s Vice President Jian Haoran, along with the heads of the Liaison and Cooperation Department and the School of International Education, attended the meeting.

Jian extended a sincere welcome to Ludmila Sergeyevna, Jing Lewei, and the delegation. He introduced the basic information and achievements of the China-Russia cooperative education programs in recent years and reviewed the past cooperation between South Ural State University and YRCTI. He also emphasized that as comprehensive strategic partners of coordination for the new era, China and Russia have a broad prospect in educational cooperation, and that YRCTI stands ready to collaborate with South Ural State University to further widen cooperation scope, enhance cooperation depth, and jointly create exemplary China-Russia education cooperation programs.
Ludmila Sergeyevna expressed her gratitude for the warm reception and briefly introduced the study and daily life of YRCTI students at South Ural State University. She said that through this visit, she hopes to further deepen the mutual understanding between the two universities, determine future cooperative directions, and expand cooperation areas, laying a solid foundation for more in-depth future exchanges and cooperation.
Jing Lewei said that the Eurasian International Association will, as a bridge and with its rich international resources, provide all-round support for the smooth implementation of China-Russia cooperative education programs, ensure high-quality progress of the programs, and promote the steady and sustainable development of education cooperation between the two universities.
After that, both sides carried out in-depth exchanges and discussions on topics such as curriculum system optimization, faculty team building, educational resource development, and faculty and student exchanges.
Since the establishment of a friendly cooperative partnership in 2015, South Ural State University and YRCTI have carried out all-round and multi-level cooperation in fields such as talent training and academic exchanges. So far, the China-Russia cooperative education program by YRCTI has produced 1,784 excellent talents with sound professional literacy and international views. In addition, such programs have not only provided a large number of high-quality applied talents for the social and economic development of China and Russia but also promoted the cultural exchanges and people-to-people bonds between the two countries, making significant contributions to deepening the China-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination for the new era.
