On May 8, a delegation of four from Shijiazhuang Institute of Railway Technology (SIRT), led by Vice President Yuan Wei, visited YRCTU. The delegation was warmly received by Vice President Jian Haoran, along with the heads of the Academic Affairs Office, the Liaison and Cooperation Department, and the School of International Education.

Vice President Jian extended a warm welcome to the delegation and provided a detailed introduction to YRCTU’s history, the hallmarks of its internationalization strategy, and its achievements in talent development. He noted that the two institutions share many similarities in their institutional development and academic programs, expressing his hope to further expand collaboration and jointly explore innovative pathways for high-quality vocational education in the new era.
Vice President Yuan expressed her gratitude for the warm reception and gave a brief overview of SIRT. She hoped the visit would serve as a catalyst for both institutions to enhance exchange, learn from one another, and pursue joint development.
Subsequently, the two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on topics including overseas program operations, Sino-foreign cooperative education, international student programs, and international talent cultivation.
During their visit, the delegation toured YRCTU’s on-campus training facilities and the “Footprints” cultural landscape, expressing their admiration for the university’s practical training conditions and the success of its internationalization initiatives.
