On June 4, 2025, YRCTU held a review and summary meeting on the quality accreditation process for its higher vocational education programs for international students. The meeting took place in Conference Room 1 of the Administration Building. Vice President Jian Haoran attended and delivered key remarks. Also present were the heads of key administrative departments—including Student Affairs, Faculty Affairs, Security, Academic Affairs, Finance, Liaison and Cooperation, and Logistical Services—as well as leaders from academic schools involved in international student education. The meeting was chaired by Ji Yao, Director of the Liaison and Cooperation Department.
During the meeting, the Liaison and Cooperation Department provided a systematic review of the entire accreditation process and delivered a detailed analysis of the preliminary feedback from the expert review panel. In response, department and school leaders engaged in in-depth discussions on advancing the high-quality development of international student programs, focusing on addressing identified issues in teaching, management, student services, and faculty development.
Jian Haoran commended the collective effort invested in the accreditation process. He emphasized that the review served as a comprehensive “health check” for the university’s international student programs and a vital opportunity to elevate its overall internationalization. “I urge everyone to use this accreditation as a new starting point,” he stated. “We must address our shortcomings, build on our strengths, and tangibly improve the quality of education and support services for our international students. Let’s fully leverage this review to drive continuous improvement, uphold our responsibility for student growth and institutional development, and take our international programs to the next level.”
Looking ahead, the university will continue to refine its educational framework for international students and enhance the quality of its talent cultivation, contributing to both China’s “Opening Up” policy and its mission to become a global leader in education.
