On March 28, the first cohort of international students of Thailand Dayu School embarks on academic journey at YRCTI. They will study the Chinese language and courses in Architectural Engineering Technology here.

Teachers of the Liaison and Cooperation Department and the School of International Education warmly welcomed the Thai teachers and students, introduced to them the campus environment and teaching facilities, and answered their questions of concern. The Thai students expressed that during their study here, they will earnestly learn the Chinese language, professional skills, as well as Chinese culture and customs to acquire knowledge and friendship, with the hope of acting as friendly ambassadors of China-Thailand cultural exchange in the future.

The accompanying Thai teachers noted that studying in China has long been a dream and significant opportunity for many Thai students. They also added that the cooperation with YRCTI has not only elevated the educational level of Rayong Technical College Thailand but also produced more local engineering technical and skilled talents for Thailand and offered more employment opportunities for Thai youth. They expressed their hope that the two universities will further deepen cooperation in the future to secure the steady and sustainable development of Dayu School.

This marks an important step for YRCTI in the construction of Dayu School. Down the road, Thailand Dayu School will continuously focus on serving the overseas development of Chinese-funded enterprises and spare no efforts to create an exemplary overseas educational brand in Thailand and Southeast Asia, injecting new momentum into YRCTI’s “vocational education going global” strategy and contributing to the high-quality development of its international education.
